Jacob’s Burning Bush on Blue

I love how one design morphs into several more ideas as various customers “redesign” and customize previous pieces I have made. This 8-shaft  twill was originally created as a blue on white tallit for a Rabbi who wanted something to coordinate with his JTS Atarah featuring their logo of a burning bush. Later, I made it with a black background (See “Max’s Black Beauty” )and now with a blue background.

An 8 -shaft design is quite a bit more complex to execute than a 4 shaft design and Bamboo requires a very fine thread count.

This tallit features a blue background with white, light blue, gold and silver elements in the pattern.

This is a long tallit for the tall person. 23″ x 79″. The average “manufactured” tallit is only 72″ long, so this allows an extra 3.5″ on each side. Includes a bag and a kippah. Bamboo with gold and silver lurex.
